Gary R. Foster

Gary R. Foster, 67, of Crown City went to be with the Lord on November 29, 2008 at his home. He was born on June 22, 1941 in Gallia County, Ohio son of Pluma Caldwell and the late Harvey Foster. Gary Retired from Jenkins Concrete where he worked for 18 years. He enjoyed fishing, camping, hunting and playing his music with his band for 9 years at various functions, which included the Crown City Fire Department and the Crown City Masonic Lodge. He is survived by his wife Linda Foster of Crown City, his mother Pluma Sheets Caldwell of Gallipolis, a daughter Sherry Jimmy Asher Morrison of Crown City, a son Gary Wayne Foster of Crown City; and three grandchildren, Jennifer Morrison, Jamie Foster, and Saundra Foster Turner; one great granddaughter Jada Turner all of Crown City; several cousins; a lot of close friends and family who will miss him dearly. Funeral services will be 2 pm Tuesday December 2, 2008 at Willis Funeral Home with Rev. Alfred Holley officiating. Burial will follow in the Crown City Cemetery.
