George L. Triplett, 69, of Crown City, Ohio passed away on Monday, January, 31, 2011 at the Cabell Huntington Hospital in Huntington, WV. He was born on May 12, 1941 in Kayford, WV the son of the late Lionel and Mabel Adkins Triplett Sr. George was married to Kay Johnson Triplett and she survives. He was a mechanic for Mountaineer Enterprise a member of the United Mine Workers Association and the Operators and Engineers Local #132 He was a United States Army Veteran. Surviving is his wife Kay Triplett of Crown City. Daughters, Lisa Triplett of Crown City, Sandra (Jeff) Adkins of Scottown, and Kim (Brian) Nolan of Crown City, a son Justin (Tessie) Triplett of Glen Dale, Arizona. Grandsons: Jaylan, Jared and Bryce Nolan. Sisters: Peggy (Kellis) Phillips of Chicago IL, Karen Jarrell of Pt. Pleasant, WV, brother: Dennis (Sharon) Triplett of Savannah, Georgia, Several nieces, nephews and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant daughter Teresa Lynn Triplett, sister: Phyllis Fife, brothers: Lionel Butch Triplett and Garner William Bill Triplett. Services will be 2:00 pm Friday, February 4, 2011 at the Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Warner officiating. Burial will follow in the Providence Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, February 3, 2011 from 5 until 8 pm. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the funeral home in Georges memory. Pallbearers will be Mike Rossiter, Josh Saunders, Justin Triplett, Tony Myers, Jaylon Nolan, Scott Condee, Bill Triplett, Larry Jarrell and Jackie Swain.
