Gertrude J. Wickline

Gertrude J. Wickline, 76, passed away on Monday, January 16, 2012 at the Holzer Medical Center. She was born June 28, 1935 in Pt. Pleasant, West Virginia, daughter of the late Andrew Sr..and Okalla Rainey Berkley. Gertrude was a 1953 GAHS graduate. She retired from Milstead Bakery and was a member of American Legion Post 27 Ladies Auxiliary. Surviving are her four children, Tamara Wickline, Andy (Terri) Wickline and David Wickline, all of Gallipolis and Marvin (Marsha) Wickline Jr., of Pensacola, Florida; eight grandchildren; six great grandchildren; three sisters, Susan Sigler of Xenia, Ohio, Annalee (Gene) Hurd of Centerpoint, Ohio and Vickie (Mike) Smith of Johnstown, Ohio; two brothers, Robert (Wynonna) Berkley of Lubbock, Texas and Chester (Shirley) Berkley of Wilkesville, Ohio; several nieces and nephews; and her former husband, Marvin Wickline Sr. of Gallipolis, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers William Billy Berkley, James Red Berkley, Andrew E. Berkley Jr., and a sister Betty Clark. Services will be 1:00 p.m., Friday, January 20, 2012 at the Willis Funeral Home with Pastor John OBrien officiating. Burial will follow in Addison Reynolds Cemetery.
