Glenn Travis Samons

Glenn Travis Samons, 34, of Roundhead, Ohio, formerly of Gallipolis, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, February 5, 2011 at a friends house. He was born February 27, 1976 in Gallipolis, son of Myrl T. and Pam Caudill Samons, who survive him. Travis married Sarah E. Ruby Samons on October 14, 2000 in Gallipolis. He was a 1994 Gallia Academy High School graduate. He was a construction worker. Travis enjoyed friends, family and computer games. Surviving are his wife, Sarah E. Samons of Roundhead, Ohio; his son, Bruce S. Samons of the home; his parents, Myrl T. and Pam Samons of Gallipolis; his grandfather, Paul Caudill of Newport, Tennessee; several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his brother Paul Samons in 1984. Services will be 1:00 p.m, Wednesday, February 9, 2011 at the Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Lusher officiating. Burial will follow in Mound Hill Cemetery.
