Goldie A. Saunders

Goldie A. Saunders, 97, of Patriot, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, October 25, 2007 at her residence. She was born on March 14, 1910 in Gallia Co., Ohio to the late Everett and Cecelia Fuller Martin. She was married to Robert Saunders Sr. who preceded her in death. Goldie was a member of the Patriot Methodist Church and was a homemaker. Surviving are her daughters, Marjorie Don Mink of Gallipolis and Daisy George Smoot of Mason, WV; Grandchildren: Robert Cook, Tammy Bumgarner, Steve Rose, Jim Rose, Sheri Rose, David Mink, and Cathy Saunders; 9 Great Grandchildren and 4 Great Great Grandchildren; also surviving is her sister Effie McMannus of Xenia. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Robert Saunders Sr., a son Robert Saunders Jr., daughter and son-in-law, Thelma and Merrill Rose, Grandsons, Keith Cook and Brian Mink, Great Grandson Cliff Cook, 4 brothers and 3 sisters. Services will be 2:00 PM, Sunday, October 28, 2007 at the Willis Funeral Home with Rev. Harold Tracewell officiating. Burial will follow in the Salem Cemetery.
