Gregory H. Day, 49, of Gallipolis, passed away on Monday, January 3, 2011 at the Holzer Medical Center Emergency Room. He was born September 6, 1961 in Gallipolis, son of the late Donnie H. Day and Vivian L. Simms Day, who survives him. He was a maintenance supervisor at the Gallia County Court House. He enjoyed his grandchildren, hunting and fishing. Surviving are his sons, Chris (Cheryl Isaac) Day and Eric (Heather) Day, both of Gallipolis; two grandchildren, Austin H. Day and Alexis N. Day; his mother, Vivian L. Day of Gallipolis; four sisters, Gladys Sue Johnson (John Sheets) of Patriot, Debra (Chip) Kirby of Vinton, Valerie Day of Rio Grande, and Angie (Dan) Nelson of Gallipolis; a brother, Keith (Cheryl Cook) Day of Gallipolis; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Donnie H. Day in 2007 and a brother, Ronnie Day in 1962. Services will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, January 8, 2011 at the Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Warner officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday, January 7, 2011 from 6-8 p.m. Pallbearers will be Keith Day, Dan Nelson, Chip Kirby, James Cochrane, Mark Lane, and Tom Halfhill. Cemetery: Mt.
