Harold G. Copley Jr.

Harold G. Copley Jr., 43, of Athens, passed away on Sunday, January 3, 2010 at O'Bleness Memorial Hospital Emergency Room, Athens, Ohio. He was born September 10, 1966 in Huntington, West Virginia, son of Harold G. Sr. and Linda Oiler Copley, who survive him. He was married to Brendea Stonerock Copley and she survives him. He was a 1984 Gallia Academy High School graduate. Harold enjoyed family time. Surviving is his wife, Brendea Copley of Athens; one son, Levi Z. Crystal Copley of Pomeroy; two daughters, Toni Marie Parker of Indianapolis, IN and Elizabeth H. Copley of Athens; one granddaughter, Carissa J. Copley of Pomeroy; his parents, Harold G. Sr. and Linda Copley of Huntington, West Virginia; one sister, Nancy Alderigi of Gallipolis; three brothers, Roger K. Copley of Huntington, West Virginia, Bradley A. Copley of Newark, Daniel Wells of Huntington, West Virginia; several nieces and nephews. Harold was preceded in death by a daughter, Kimberly Copley; a paternal grandfather, Thomas Adams; and a maternal great grandmother, Elizabeth Oiler. Services will be 1:00 p.m., Thursday, January 7, 2010 at the Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Bert Christian officiating. Burial will follow in Centenary Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. prior to the service.
