Hazel Dolores Greene Fisher, 79, of Crown City, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at her residence. She was born on June 18, 1941 in Gallia County, daughter of the late Oral Otis and Leona Waugh Greene. Dolores retired from the GDC after 30 years of service. She loved to bowl and was in a bowling league for 15 years. Dolores loved spoiling her grandchildren and was a member of Christ United Methodist Church. Dolores was married to the love of her life, Forrest Lee Fisher on June 23, 1957; and he preceded her in death in 2014. Dolores was also preceded in death by a step son, William "Bill" Fisher; three brothers, Neil Rodger Greene, Roy Lynn Greene, and Oral Otis Greene, Jr.; and one sister, Frances Dillon. Dolores is survived by her three loving children who were by her side, Kendall Fisher of Crown City, Cheryl Taylor (Jim Calvert) of Gallipolis, and Teresa (Jack) Angell of Crown City; grandchildren, Jennifer (Eddie) Rowley of Gallipolis, Derek Taylor of Gallipolis, and Terry Pratt (Sarah) of Crown City; great grandchildren, C.J. (Destiny) Halfhill of Point Pleasant, West Virginia, Dalton Halfhill of Point Pleasant, Lexie Taylor of Bidwell, Ohio, and Madison Pratt of Bidwell; great great grandson, Lincoln James Halfhill of Point Pleasant; two step grandchildren, James M. Calvert of Gallipolis and Jessica Armstrong of Circleville, Ohio; one step great grandson, Christian Calvert; one step great granddaughter, Chloe Rowley; one brother, Leon Greene of Gallipolis; and one sister, Brenda Nickell of Dayton, Ohio. The funeral service for Dolores will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 27, 2020 at Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Kandyse Nuce officiating. Her burial will follow in Swan Creek Cemetery. Friends may call from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service on Sunday. Those in attendance are asked to follow the CDC guidelines of practicing social distancing and are required to follow the Ohio mandate of wearing face masks. Pallbearers will be Ricky Sibley, Larry Sibley, Jack Angell, Dalton Halfhill, Terry Pratt, and Eddie Rowley.
