Herbert R. “Herb” Clonch, 59, of Gallipolis, passed away on Saturday, June 9, 2012 at the Holzer Medical Center Emergency Room. He was born September 18, 1952 in Gallipolis, Ohio, son of the late William R. and Dorothy Ellen Younger Clonch. Herb was a Vietnam Army Veteran and a truck driver. He enjoyed golfing and playing cards. Surviving are his significant other, Toni Smith of Gallipolis; four daughters, Mari Bowens of Gallipolis, Angela (Harvey) Willoughby and Jennifer Henry, both of Point Pleasant, West Virginia, Tiffany Oesterreicher of Gallipolis; one son, Herbert R. (Nicole) Clonch, Jr. of Vinton; twelve grandchildren; six sisters, Alta Hill Riedel of Gallipolis, Maryann (Myron) Nibert of Waterford, Iva Myers of Bidwell, Nancy Caldwell of Crown City, Dorothy Wills of Gallipolis, Virginia Kasee of Marietta; and one brother, Richard (Marion) Clonch of Gallipolis. Herb was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Opal Martin and two brothers, William Bush and Charles Junior Bush. Services will be 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at the Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Randy Parsons officiating. Burial will follow in Centenary Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 12-1 p.m. prior to the service. There will be military services at the graveside by volunteers of area veteran’s lodges.
