Ida M. Pilcher, 76, of Gallipolis, went home to be with the Lord and loved ones on Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at Holzer Medical Center. She was born August 26, 1936 in Gallia County, Ohio, daughter of the late Jessie Monroe and Irene Lucille Queen White. Ida was married to Russell Pilcher and he preceded her in death in 2001. She was a nurse’s aide. Surviving are her two daughters, Debra Ann Holland of Circleville and Katrena Jill Mullen (David Hootman) of Gallipolis; five grandchildren, Patricia F. (William) Blanton, David A. Holland (Lindsey Christ), Patricia Lee (Kent) Winner, Rebecca L. Moore (Lloyd Ayers), Cody A. Moore (Kadisha Armstrong); nine great grandchildren, Bill “Bubby” Blanton, Jeremy “Bubby” Moore, Alexis M. Holland, Austin R. Blanton, Madison L. Moore, Kayla M. Winner, Kaden “Bubby” Moore, Lloyd “Bubby” Moore, Aaliyah R. Moore; two sisters, Ruth Willet of Gallipolis and Frances Hyde of Augusta, Georgia; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Russell Pilcher, Ida was preceded in death by a son, Norman E. Mullen, son-in-law, David L. Holland, brothers, Frank E. and Alvin J. White; and sisters, Hazel Montgomery, Goldie Hill, Sylvia Perkins, Marjorie Mullins, Ruby Montgomery, Grace Mullins. Services will be 1:30 p.m., Sunday, September 16, 2012 at the Willis Funeral Home with Larry Drummond officiating. Burial will follow in Centenary Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 12:30 – 1:30 p.m. on Sunday prior to the service.
