Ima Jean Henry

Ima Jean Henry, 64, of Gallipolis, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 23, 2009 at the Ohio State University Medical Center, Columbus, Ohio. She was born on November 12, 1944 in Gallipolis, daughter of the late Robert Moore and Rosa J. Saunders Coughenour. Ima Jean was employed at AVI Vending and was a member of Kings Chapel Church. She is survived by her former husband and best friend, Gilbert E. Henry Sr. of Gallipolis; three sons, Gilbert April Henson Henry Jr. of Columbus, Robert Debbie Henry, Ann-Lee Staats Henry of Point Pleasant and Henderson, WV, Matthew Missy Henry of Gallipolis; ten grandchildren, Tiffany Shae Porter, Robert 'Robbie' Wesley Henry II, Ryan Scott Henry, Mandy LaShae Henry, Caitlyn LaDale Henry, Joshua Tilden Henry, Caleb Matthew Henry, Sierra Rose Henry, Kierra Marie Henry, Ayden Lee Henry; one great grandson, Trevon McMillan; two sisters-in-law, Hazel Coughenour and Ellen Coughenour, both of Gallipolis; several nieces and nephews. Ima Jean was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Thelma Johnson and three brothers, Harry Coughenour Jr., Vernon Coughenour, and Preston Coughenour. Services will be 1 p.m., Saturday, June 27, 2009 at the Willis Funeral Home with Rev. Junior Preston, Rev. Truman Johnson and Rev. Donnie Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Pine Street Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday, June 26, 2009 from 6-8 p.m. Pallbearers will be Rand Clark, Kenny Coughenour, Robbie Henry, Ryan Henry, Gilbert Henry Jr., Matthew Henry, and Robert Henry. Honorary pallbearers will be Joshua Henry, Caleb Henry, and Ayden Henry.
