Ima J. Kingery

Ima J. Kingery, 91, of Bidwell, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 15, 2009 at the Holzer Medical Center. She was born December 17, 1917 in Salt Rock, West Virginia, daughter of the late Ora and Ida May Porter Lucas. Ima married Floyd E. Kingery on November 27, 1937 and he preceded her in death on May 24, 2005. She was a homemaker. Surviving her are two daughters, Pat Carlos Swisher and Elizabeth Rothgeb, both of Gallipolis; a son, Wedzel Kingery of Bidwell; five beloved grandsons, Craig Wedzel Tressa Kingery, Terry Randall Rothgeb, Todd Everett Beverly Rothgeb, Shaun Carlos April Swisher, Shane Edward Barbie Swisher and six beloved great grandchildren, JoBeth Rothgeb, Nathan Fred Rothgeb, Nicholas Shaun Swisher, Gabrielle Reese Swisher, Julian James Kingery, and Ethan Craig Kingery, whom she loved to have visit in her home. In addition to her parents and husband, Floyd Kingery, a son-in-law Randy Rothgeb she was preceded in death by three sisters, Layunie Hutchison, Leona F. Drummond, Ruth Greene and three brothers, Vernon Lucas, Farrice Lucas, and Elvis Lucas. Services will be 1:00 p.m., Monday, October 19, 2009 at the Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Cliff Curry officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Street Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday, October 18, 2009 from 7-9 p.m. Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
