Isaac M. Hively, Jr.

Isaac M. Hively, Jr., 63, of Gallipolis, Ohio passed away at his residence on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 after battling cancer. Ike was born on August 21, 1958 in Gallia County, son of the late Isaac M. Hively, Sr. and Doris R. Baughman Hively. He was a retired truck driver for Hescht Trucking in Winfield, West Virginia. Ike enjoyed fishing, hunting and riding his motorcycles. He was a 1976 graduate of Hannan Trace High School. He was married to Nora Stanley Hively for forty-five years; and she survives him, along with his three children, Missy (David) Sansom of Madison, West Virginia, Isaac M. (Sarah) Hively III of Gallipolis, Ohio, and Levi Hively of Gallipolis, Ohio; grandchildren, Lilly, Andrew, Mallick, Chris, and Isaac Breck; two sisters, Nancy (J.D.) Campbell and Jane Akers; two brothers, Bruce Hively and Brian (Heather) Hively; and several nieces and nephews. A Graveside Service for Ike will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, May 16, 2022 at Okey Chapel Cemetery on Bladen Road with Rev. Steve Nibert officiating.
