J. Lloyd Shaver

J. Lloyd Shaver, 70, of Gallipolis, Ohio went to Heaven on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 from Holzer Medical Center. Born on February 24, 1951 in Gallia County, Ohio, Lloyd was the son of the late James Pearl and Marjorie Mae Davis Shaver. Lloyd is survived by his wife of forty years, Donna Eads Shaver. He retired from GKN after forty-three years. Lloyd was a member of BPOE #107. He enjoyed camping, fishing, and working flea markets. Lloyd is survived by his wife, Donna Shaver of Gallipolis; daughters, Candy (Allan) Sheets and Wanda Armstrong; grandchildren, Emma and James Sheets, Ashley (Mark) Thomas, Mike (Brittany) Eblin, and Whitney Foster; seven great grandchildren; brother, Jim Shaver; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends; and special friends, Michelle and Nick Henderson and Sharyn Bastiani. In addition to his parents, Lloyd was preceded in death by his son, Wayne Shaver; brothers, Ora “Bub” Shaver and Ray Shaver; and sister, Juanita Sergent. The funeral service for Lloyd will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, September 17, 2021 at Ohio Valley Memory Gardens Chapel of Hope Mausoleum with Pastor Alfred Holley officiating.
