Jackie Thomas Hunt, Sr., 46, of Thurman, Ohio passed away on Saturday, January 1, 2022 in Marietta, Ohio. Born on December 4, 1975 in Gallipolis, Ohio, Jackie was the son of the late Jackie W. Hunt and Martha A. Luke Powell, who survives him in Thurman. Jackie graduated from Gallia Academy High School and earned an Associate Degree in Fine Arts from the University of Rio Grande. He was a patient aide at Res Care. Jackie was an artist, who enjoyed music and painting. Jackie is survived by his son, Jackie Thomas Hunt, Jr. of Thurman; daughter, Juliana Elizabeth Hunt of Gallipolis; mother, Martha A. (Ivan) Powell of Thurman; and brother, James Kirk Hunt of Tiltonsville, Ohio. According to his wishes, no public services are being planned.
