James Edward Large

James Edward “Jim” Large, 80, of Gallipolis, Ohio passed away on Sunday, December 12, 2021 at Holzer Medical Center. Born on June 27, 1941 in Gallia County, Ohio, Jim was the son of the late Marvin and Ethel Marie Queen Mullens. In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by a sister, Kay Willett; brother, Jack Large; daughter, Becky Large; and granddaughters, April Large and Amber Mintz. Jim was a United States Army veteran. Jim is survived by his children, LaDonna Mintz (James Oldaker) of Gallipolis, Jamie Murdoch of Columbus, Ohio, Micah Large of Columbus, Jason Large of Georgia; Angel (Travis) Hart of Racine, Ohio, Ashley Large of New Haven, West Virginia, and Tracy Large of New Haven; many grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren. A Graveside Service for Jim will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, December 17, 2021 at Ohio Valley Memory Gardens with Pastor Ray Kane officiating.
