Jamie Allen Thomas

Jamie Allen Thomas, 42, of Vinton, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at his residence. He was born May 26, 1971 in Gallipolis, Ohio, son of James K. and Allyson Lewis Thomas, who survive him. Jamie was married to Sharon Deem Thomas and she survives also. He was a 1989 graduate of Gallia Academy High School and Buckeye Hills Career Center. He worked at Chillicothe Kenworth. Jamie was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and enjoyed hunting, fishing and restoring old cars. Surviving are his wife, Sharon Thomas of Vinton; four children, Cody A. (Casey) Graham of Fayetteville, North Carolina, Beau A. Thomas, Alisha R. Thomas, Sarah E. Thomas, all of Vinton; his parents, James K. and Allyson Thomas of Bidwell; one brother, Bradley K. (Barbara) Thomas of Vinton; one nephew, Brody Thomas; a grandmother, Esther Thomas of Vinton; father-in-law, Jimmy (Carrie) Deem of Racine; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Lisa (Lee) Gangwer of Mason, West Virginia, Belinda (Steve) Clark of Pomeroy, Dorinda Deem of Mason, West Virginia, Jason (Holly) Deem of Chillicothe, David Deem of Gallipolis, and Jimmy Deem of Racine; and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Services will be 1:30 p.m., Sunday, August 4, 2013 at the Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Dale Geiser officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
