Jane Ann Layne

Jane Ann Layne, 84, of Crown City, Ohio passed away on Sunday, May 18, 2014 at the Arbors at Gallipolis. She was born on October 18, 1929 in Crown City, Ohio, daughter of the late Miles and Anna Campbell Neal. Jane Ann retired in 1981 from the Gallipolis Developmental Center with 30 years of service. She was married to Loren Layne on January 19, 1951 in Gallipolis and he preceded her in death on January 14, 2014. Jane attended Canaan Baptist Church. She is survived by two sisters-in-law, Rose (Roger) James of Gallipolis and Betty (Charles) Harless of Lexington Park, Maryland, serveral nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be 11 am Thursday, May 22, 2014 at Kings Chapel Church with Pastor Jim Chapman officiating. In accordance with her wishes there will not be any calling hours.
