Jasper O. Coen

Jasper O. Coen, 95, of Gallipolis, passed away on Monday, June 16, 2008 at the Pleasant Valley Hospital, Point Pleasant, WV. He was born February 11, 1913 in Buffalo, WV, son of the late William H. and Stella King Coen. Jasper was married to Ola Mae Tucker Coen and she preceded him in death. Surviving are his daughter and son-in-law, Phyllis and L.R. Houser of Sierra Vista, Arizona; six grandchildren, Ron Coen, Dan Coen, Jamie Coen, Lena James Stover, Lori Coen and Tammy Tom Durham; six great grandchildren; and a niece, Zelma Gene Gray of New Haven, WV. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ola Coen, his parents, a son and daughter-in-law, William H. and Ruth Coen, three brothers and three sisters. Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, June 19, 2008 at Ohio Valley Memory Gardens with Pastor Alfred Holley officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of the Willis Funeral Home.
