Jeremiah J. Thompson

Jeremiah 'Jeremy' J. Thompson, 27, of Bidwell, passed away on Friday, August 1, 2008 in Meigs County as the result of a motorcycle accident. He was born May 21, 1981 in Point Pleasant, WV, son of Robert 'Bob' Jr. and Brenda Browning Thompson, who survive him. Jeremy was a 1999 graduate of Gallia Academy High School. He was employed at Lang Concrete and was recently working on the new Gallia Academy High School site and in Huntington. He enjoyed fishing, working with his hands and spending time with his family and friends. Surviving are his parents, Robert 'Bob' Jr. and Brenda Thompson of Bidwell; a brother, Chad A. Samantha Thompson of Bidwell; grandparents Robert Joseph 'Joe' and Corena Thompson and Bert and Sue Browning, all of Gallipolis; special friend Rebecca Butler of Gallipolis; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Services will be 11 a.m., Tuesday, August 5, 2008 at the Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Lynn officiating. Burial will follow in Ridgelawn Cemetery.
