Jill A. Preece

Jill A. Preece, 42, of Gallipolis, passed away on Monday, February 21, 2011 at her residence. She was born September 5, 1968 in Gallipolis, daughter of the late James S. Angel and Audrey Shafer Angel, who survives her. Jill was married to Jerry L. Preece on July 27, 1991 in Gallipolis and he also survives her. She was a 1987 Gallia Academy High School graduate and was formerly employed at Pinecrest Nursing Home. Surviving are her husband, Jerry L. Preece of Gallipolis; four sons, Tyler Preece and Tristan Preece, both of Gallipolis, Eric Conley and Jerry Conley, both of Delbarton, West Virginia; her mother, Audrey Angel of Gallipolis; two sisters, Judy (Amel) Waugh of Crown City and Joy Clary of Gallipolis; her mother-in-law, Violet Nunnery of Pt. Pleasant, West Virginia; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Monty Swain of Crown City, Randy and Patty Preece of Pt. Pleasant, West Virginia, Mike and Vicki Martin of Sandyville, West Virginia, Doug and Darla Martin of Pt. Pleasant, West Virginia, Marsha and Steve Burke of Delbarton, West Virginia; several nieces and nephews. Jill was preceded in death by her father, James S. Angel on March 14, 2001, a son, Jason Preece, a sister, JoAnn Swain, a brother-in-law, Bobby Clary and grandparents, Willie and Minnie Shafer and Brady and Belva Angel. Services will be 1:00 p.m., Friday, February 25, 2011 at the Willis Funeral Home with Rev. Matthew Henry officiating. Burial will follow in Ridgelawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, February 24, 2011 from 5-8 p.m. Pallbearers will be Rick Clary, Rodney Clary, Allen Waugh, Bruce Waugh, Monty Swain, Randy Preece and Doug Martin.
