John David J.D. Cline, Jr.

John David “J.D.” Cline, Jr., 38, of Vinton, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at Ohio State University Medical Center East in Columbus, Ohio. Born on November 24, 1982 in Gallipolis, Ohio, J.D. was the son of John David and Jody K. Cline, Sr., who survive him in Gallipolis. J.D. married Moriah Halfhill Cline, who survives him in Vinton. He was formerly employed by SFS Truck Sales and Cline’s Body Shop. J. D. loved football, especially the Dallas Cowboys and Ohio State Buckeyes. J.D. is survived by his wife, Moriah Cline of Vinton; daughter, Emma Cline of Vinton; parents, John David and Jody K. Cline, Sr. of Gallipolis; brother, Chris Cline (Christy Clagg) of Gallipolis; nieces, Bailey Cline and Allie Clagg; great niece, Tatum Clagg; maternal grandmother, Miriam Jean Johnson of Gallipolis; grandmother-in-law and grandfather-in-law, Marilyn and Kenneth Halfhill of Bidwell, Ohio; aunts, uncles, and cousins; mother-in-law, Barbara Stover of Florida; good friends, Daniel Boggs and David Stover; and many friends. J.D. was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Harley E. Johnson and Clarence V. Cline and grandmother, Margaret Ann Cline. There will be no public services at this time.
