Joyce Louise Miller

Joyce Louise Miller, 67, of Patriot, Ohio passed away on Sunday, October 15, 2023 at Cabell Huntington Hospital in Huntington, West Virginia.

Born on December 29, 1955 in Bowling Green, Ohio, Joyce was the daughter of the late Marvin M. and Carolyn Nancy Fite Church.  Joyce married Edward Jacob Miller, who survives her in Patriot, Ohio.  She was an LPN, medical secretary, and home health aide.  Joyce enjoyed quilting.

Joyce is survived by her husband of nearly 47 years, Jacob Miller of Patriot; daughter, Jacklyn “Jacki” (Jonathan) McCaleb of Patriot; son, William Church of Patriot; grandchildren, Jessica McCaleb, Jensen McCaleb, and Jericho McCaleb; brothers, J.D. Church and Dennis (Kay) Church; and sister, Mary (Johnnie) McGuire.

In addition to her parents, Joyce was preceded in death by her brother, Gary Daniel Church and sister, Teri Gothard.

A Graveside Service for Joyce will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 19, 2023 in the Miller Family Cemetery.  Friends and family may call from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at Willis Funeral Home.
