Judith Ann Mcculty

Judith “Judy” Ann McCulty, 78, of Gallipolis, Ohio passed away on Friday, August 20, 2021 at Holzer Medical Center. Born on October 5, 1942 in Gallia County, Ohio, Judy was the daughter of the late Robert “Bob” Erwin and the late Virginia Walker Wise. Judy married Billy G. McCulty, who preceded her in death on March 31, 2012. Judy was the owner and operator of Riverside Motel in Gallipolis for forty-five years; she also retired from Gallipolis Developmental Center. She was a graduate of North Gallia High School and attended Elizabeth Chapel Church. Judy is survived by her son, Billy McCulty of Gallipolis; daughter and son-in-law, Julie and Jamie Saunders of Gallipolis; grandsons, Owen Saunders and Jeb Saunders; sister, Jane Colley of Oak Hill, Ohio; brothers, Bud (Sharon) Erwin of Mount Vernon, Ohio and Jerry Erwin of Vinton, Ohio; several nieces and nephews; and special friend and helper, Sonya. In addition to her mother, father, and husband, Judy was preceded in death by a daughter, Melonie Ann McCulty; brother, Ronnie Erwin; and stepfather, Neal Wise. The Graveside Service for Judy will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 22, 2021 in Vinton Memorial Park with Pastor Randy Carnes officiating.
