Judy C. Althouse

Judy C. Althouse, 75, of Gallipolis passed away on Friday, September 3, 2021 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Born on January 27, 1946 in Grove City, Ohio, Judy was the daughter of the late William H. and Audrey Marie Curnutte Gloyd. In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her daughter, Ellen Baker and sisters, Mamie Harmon and Sandra Miller. Judy is survived by her children, Mark J. Browning of Bidwell, Tommy (Alisha) Reed of Point Pleasant, West Virginia, Charles (Wendy) Reed, Jr. of Parkersburg, West Virginia, Chrystal Reed Brewer of Creekside, Pennsylvania, Lois Rose of Gallipolis, and Christina Lambert of Wellston, Ohio; sixteen grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; brothers, William Howard Gloyd of Rutland, Ohio and Douglas Clayton Gloyd of Gallipolis; sisters, Diane (Charles) Kite of Chillicothe, Vickie Barrett of Dexter, Ohio, and Sherry Miller of Rutland, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral service for Judy will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 9, 2021 at Willis Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Bethel Cemetery.
