Julia Lee Cremeans

Julia Lee Cremeans, 84, of Rutland, Ohio, formerly ofCheshire, Ohiopassed away on Saturday, December 24, 2011 in the Emergency Room at OBleness Memorial Hospital. She was born on November 3, 1927 in Lonaconing, Maryland to the late James and Marcelinia Sluss Merrbach. Lee had formerly worked for the F.B.I. in Washington, DC and retired from the Gallipolis Developmental Center. She enjoyed fishing, bowling and spending time with her family. She was married to Billy Bryan Cremeans and he preceded her in death in 1964. Lee is survived by her children a son Orland D. (Phyllis Loveday) Cremeans of Pt. Pleasant, WV, and a daughter Edricess Edi (Donald) Karr, Jr. of Rutland, Ohio; five grandchildren Billy (Jennifer) Cremeans, Lisa (Jeff) Lemley, Stephanie (Alex) Dickens, Joseph (Brandi) Cremeans, and Odie (Brandy) Karr; seven great grandchildren, and one sister June Wattenschaidt of Myrtle Beach, SC. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and by a sister Mildred Moon. Services will be 2 pm Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Larry Lemley officiating. Burial will follow in Gravel Hill Cemetery. Friends may call on Wednesday, from 1 pm until the time of the services at Willis Funeral Home, in Gallipolis. Family members will be her pallbearers.
