June E. Taylor

June E. Taylor, 75, of Bidwell, Ohio passed away on Monday, January 14, 2008 at her residence. She was born on March 4, 1932 in Nickelsville, Virginia to the late Alvis Vincent Burke and Nannie G. Kilgore Burke. She was a homemaker and attended the Apostolic Gospel Church in Gallipolis. June is survived by three daughters, Norma J. Jenkins of Gallipolis, Judy Bowman Ramey of Gates City, Virginia, and Nancy Drennen of Gallipolis, two sons, Sam Drennen, Jr., of Bidwell, and Don L. Drennen of Gallipolis; 13 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; one sister Bonnie Salyers of Kingsport, TN; two nieces Thelma Harrison of Bidwell and Ruth McConnell of TN, one nephew Glenn Burke of Niagara Falls, NY. June was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, Omar S. Drennen in 1971 and Lester E. Taylor in 1980, two brothers Hugh J. Burke and Charles Burke, one sister Ruth Reed; one nephew John W. Burke. Services will be 7:30 PM Thursday, January 17, 2008 at Willis Funeral Home with Pastors Willard Blankenship and Steve Nibert officiating. Friends may call on Thursday from 6 pm 7:30 pm at Willis Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held on Friday, January 18, 2008 at 1 PM at the Lawson Confederate Cemetery in Gates City, Virginia.
