Justin Williams

Ralph Justin “Jud” Williams, 77, of Gallipolis, Ohio closed his eyes on earth and awoke in the arms of God on January 27, 2021. Justin was born on December 11, 1943 in Lecta, Ohio, son of Garland E. Williams and Evelyn E. Williams, who preceded him in death along with his sister, Betty Baker and brothers, Jack Williams and Daniel Williams. Justin is survived by daughters, Lisa (Jimmy) Isaacs of Titusville, Florida, Lori (Pat) Prendergast of Cape Charles, Virginia, Melissa Jones of Vero Beach, Florida, and Cami Smith of Bidwell, Ohio; son, Justin (Cathy) Williams of Gallipolis; twelve grandchildren; ten great grandchildren and two on the way; life partners and best friends, Velma Williams and his dog, Lillie; and many special friends, including the Liars Club. Justin was a veteran and later employed by the West Virginia National Guard until 1978; he then spent a large portion of his life as a truck driver. Justin was a member of Gallipolis Christian Church and attended Rodney Church of Light. The funeral service for Justin will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, February 1, 2021 at Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Gene Harmon and Pastor Todd Hines officiating. Entombment will follow at Ohio Valley Memory Gardens. Friends may call prior to the service from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Those in attendance are asked to follow CDC guidelines of social distancing and are required to follow the Ohio mandate of wearing face masks. Military honors will be given at the cemetery by the Gallia County Funeral Detail.
