Kathryn T. Henderson

Kathryn T. Henderson, 84, of West Jefferson, Ohio formerly of Gallipolis passed away on Friday, May 2, 2008 after a long illness at Arbors West in West Jefferson. Kathryn was born on March 15, 1924 in Big Wells, Texas to the late George and Robbie McFadden Tuttle. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ. Surviving are her children, a son John C. Dee Henderson, III of Pt. Pleasant, WV, two daughters Lynda William Buckley of Leesburg, Florida and Julia Henderson Rupe of Gallipolis; 8 Grandchildren and 14 Great Grandchildren; one sister Betty Gallagher of Stanford, CT, and one brother George Tuttle of Louisville, Texas. Kathryn was married to John C. Henderson, Jr. on June 17, 1944 and he preceded her in death on December 29, 2001. She was also preceded in death by her parents and a daughter Betty Jane Nelson, and by a brother William Tuttle. Services will 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 7, 2008 at Willis Funeral Home with Chaplain Dave Matos with burial following in the Ohio Valley Memory Gardens.
