Lavina Michelle Shaffer

Lavina Michelle Shaffer, two days old, passed away on Thursday, January 10, 2008 at the Cabell Huntington Hospital. She was born on January 8, 2008, the daughter of Seth and Erin Shaffer of Crown City. Also surviving are grandparents, Milinda and Rick Meaige of Gallipolis and Bev and Terry Shaffer of Crown City; an aunt, Bethani Shaffer of Crown City; great grandparents, Beatrice and Robert Johnson and Grace Shaffer, all of Crown City, Nick Meaige, Nancy Fellure, Gerald Fellure, all of Gallipolis and Donald Brumfield of Lima; great aunts and uncles, Angie and David Long, Bev Hardin, Cindy and Gary Casto, Davey and Becky Meaige and Tony and Sherri Meaige, all of Gallipolis, Nicky and Cindy Meaige and Carla and Pete Somerville, all of Pt. Pleasant, WV, Lora Potts of Florida, Reginia and Charlie Cremeans of Hurricane, WV, and Donna and Scott Gibson of Crown City; several loving cousins and extended family. Lavina Michelle was preceded in death by a great grandfather and great grandmother, Clarence Shaffer and Lavina Meaige, a great uncle, Roger Shaffer and a great aunt, Mary Ann Sommer. Graveside services will be 1 p.m, Sunday, January 13, 2008 at Ridgelawn Cemetery with Pastor Charlie Cremeans and Pastor Garland Montgomery officiating.
