Lenville Len Engle

Lenville S. “Len” Engle, 74, of Gallipolis, passed away on Sunday, January 10, 2016 at Holzer Medical Center after an extended illness. Len was born on November 5, 1941 in Yocum, KY, son of the late C B and Oleta D. Engle. He was also preceded in death by a brother Keith Engle and a sister-in-law Gwen Engle. Len is survived by his wife of 50 years, Shirley, a daughter Andrea (Steve) Kelley of Columbus, a son Greg Engle of Gallipolis; two grandchildren Meaghan Kelley and Wyatt Kelley of Columbus. Len is also survived by two sisters; Sue (Terry) Brown of Columbus, Ohio and Judy (Dave) Anderson of Xenia, Ohio and many nieces and nephews As a young child his passion for camping, travel and visits to off road destinations followed him throughout his life. He had a great love for learning and was an avid reader. He loved woodworking, playing cards and keeping people laughing. He served in U.S. Air Force for 6 years and later retired as the Media Director from the Gallipolis City Schools. He had a great sense of humor and will be missed by many friends and family.
