Lettie Jean Wallace, 77, of Cross Lanes, West Virginia, formerly of Gallipolis, passed away on Monday, December 5, 2011 at Teays Valley Hospital, Teays Valley, West Virginia. She was born on August 31, 1934 in Point Pleasant, West Virginia, daughter of the late Franklin Emory and Lettie M. Lewis Doolittle. Jean was married to Blain Moose Wallace and he preceded her in death. She was retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber, was a member of the Emblem Club of Elks 107, Gallipolis, OH and the Ladies of the Moose, Point Pleasant, WV. Surviving are her daughters Sharon Goodnite Meadows (Richard Johnson) of Beckley, West Virginia and Judy Goodnite (Martin R. Jr.) Smith of Cross Lanes, West Virginia; a son, Rocky Goodnite of Gallipolis, Ohio; two grandsons, Reid Meadows and Blain Smith; two granddaughters, Jillian Meadows and Caitlin Smith; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and her husband, Blain Moose Wallace, Jean was preceded in death by a brother William Reid Doolittle and a sister Bernice McDonough. Services will be 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 8, 2011 at the Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Bryan Cantrell officiating. Burial will follow in Beale Chapel Cemetery.
