Liberty Lovey Coleman

Liberty 'Lovey' Coleman, 37, of Gallipolis, passed away on Sunday, May 4, 2008 at St. Mary's Medical Center, Huntington, WV. She was born March 26, 1971 in Gallipolis, daughter of Gary L. Figgins, who survives her and the late Mary Ann Howell Figgins. Liberty attended Faith Baptist Church as a youth and also attended Gallia Academy High School. She was a telemarketer for Gallipolis Infocision and an avid dog lover. Surviving are her children, Marcus A. Coleman and Mitchell Swavae Coleman, both of Gallipolis; her father, Gary L. Figgins of Gallipolis; five sisters, Sue Ann Springer of Utah, Lynn Schweitz of Oklahoma, Lois Rogers, Melissa Ward and Melinda James Griffin, all of Gallipolis; her grandfather, Maurice Figgins of Bidwell; two aunts, Linda Scott of Gallipolis and Karen Sue Ragland of Bidwell; one uncle, Donald Figgins of Crown City; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and special friends, Jackie Sheets, Charlton Armstrong, and Teresa Wells Burlile, all of Gallipolis. In addition to her mother, Mary Ann Figgins, she was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Margaret Figgins and Stella Howell. Graveside services will be 11 a.m., Friday, May 9, 2008 at Providence Cemetery, Buck Ridge Rd. with Rev. Herb Smith officiating.
