Lillian I. Clagg, 79, of Gallipolis, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, January 11, 2022. She was born April 2, 1942, in Henderson, West Virginia, to the late Buster and Dorothy Clonch. She married Lewis Clagg on August 6, 1960. He passed away on the same day as she did. Lillian was devoted in all she did. She was a member of Canaan Missionary Baptist Church, where she served as Clerk, Treasurer, Sunday School Teacher, sang in the choir, and sang at numerous funerals. She was a nominee for the 2000-2001 Henrietta Mears National Sunday School Teacher of the Year. She was always in service to her family. She thought of everyone before herself. She was a blessing to all who knew her and she will be missed. Lillian is survived by her children, Jeffrey (Jane) Clagg, Therill (Tammy) Clagg, and Cheryl (Chris) Wintz; grandchildren, Ronnie (Martha) Clagg, Jimmy (Jessica) Clagg, Ashley, Whitney, Lilly, and Johnny Clagg, Teri (David) Burdell, Brittany (Zac Bennett) Wintz, Levi Wintz, Timber Goelling, Aaron Price, Krystle (Nic) Barnett, and Drew Steger; fourteen great grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Ashely Clagg; and siblings, Patty (Dencil) Campbell, Susie (Tony) Williamson, and Burdell Clonch. In addition to her parents, Lillian was preceded in death by John Clagg, son; Helen Cooper, Randall Clonch, and Eddie Clonch, siblings; and Stacy Mills, granddaughter. Pallbearers will be Ronnie Clagg, Jimmy Clagg, Levi Wintz, Aaron Price, Drew Steger, and David Burdell. Honorary pallbearers will be Johnny Clagg, Chris Wintz, Melvin Clagg, and Josh Mills. Calling hours will be on Friday, January 14, 2022 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Willis Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. and will be officiated by Garland Montgomery. Burial will follow in Centenary Cemetery.
