Lorena Kathleen "Katie" Mullins

Lorena Kathleen (Katie) Mullins, 88, of Gallipolis, Ohio passed away peacefully at Holzer Hospital on Friday, July 26, 2024.  She was born at home, in Crown City, Ohio, to the late Charles Douglas Wallace and Clarice Kathleen Saunders Wallace on October 2, 1935.  Katie retired from AT&T in 1989.

Katie is survived by her daughter and two sons:  Twila Brown, Lexington, Virginia; Terry Harrison, Charlotte, North Carolina; and Trent (Leda) Harrison, Gallipolis, Ohio.  She is also survived by four grandchildren, whom she adored:  Brandon (Cassie) Harrison, Olivia Harrison, Emily Brown, and Austin Brown, as well as two great- grandchildren.  In addition, six half-siblings and two step-siblings survive.  She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.  Katie was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie; her sister, Shirley; and two half-siblings.

Per her wishes, there will be no funeral services.  Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family.  She will be laid to rest at Mound Hill Cemetery.  The family is being assisted by Willis Funeral Home.  Online condolences may be sent to www.willisfuneralhome.com.
