Loretta S. Shaffer

Loretta S. Shaffer, 64, of Gallipolis passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2020 at Ohio State University Medical Center. Born on October 24, 1955 in Gallia County, Ohio, Loretta was the daughter of the late Vance A. and Rosalee McGuire Dray. Loretta was a homemaker who volunteered at the Gallipolis New Life Lutheran Church clothing giveaways. Loretta is survived by her daughter, Brandy Shaffer of Gallipolis; son, Johnny “Bub” Shaffer (Susan Kirk) of Gallipolis; grandson, Travis Reynolds; great grandchild, Amelia Faith Reynolds; life companion, Roger Rossiter of Gallipolis; brothers, Carl Bryan Dray of Gallipolis, Terry Joe Dray of Gallipolis, Calvin Ray Dray of Point Pleasant, West Virginia, and Jeffrey (Zeke) Dray of Wellston; sisters-in-law, Ramah Dray of Gallipolis and Cheryl Dray of Gallipolis; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Loretta was preceded in death by her sister, Patricia Kay Ferrell and brothers, Gary Dray and Bruce Dray.
