Lori Watson Rose, 40, of Gallipolis, passed away on Sunday, April 4, 2010 at her residence. She was born June 19, 1969 in Gallipolis, daughter of the late Virgil R. 'Boob' Watson and Shirley Joy Sanders Watson, who survives her. She was married to Russell Rose and he survives her. Lori was a 1989 graduate of Hannan Trace High School and was the manager of the Fast Stop SR 218. She attended Elizabeth Chapel, enjoyed cooking and visiting with friends. Surviving are her husband, Russell Rose of Gallipolis; her son, Kegan Chase Rose and her daughter, Shaylee J.P. Rose, both of Gallipolis; her mother, Shirley Joy Sanders Watson of Gallipolis; two sisters, Paula Tony Nolan of Gallipolis and Tammy Timmy Brumfield of Patriot; one brother, Virgil R. Tonia Watson II of Gallipolis; nephews, Brandon and Brady Nolan, Shane and Jacob Brumfield, Trey and Troy Watson; a great niece, Breanna Nolan and a great nephew, Aaron Nolan; three stepsons, Brad Misty Rose, Derek Jessie Rose and Andrew Rose, all of Gallipolis; several aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends. Lori was preceded in death by her father, Virgil R. 'Boob' Watson on October 23, 1991, grandparents Meriett and Pauline Sanders, Chauncey and Hildred Watson, cousins Dallas Watson and Loreda Cummons. Services will be 1 p.m., Thursday, April 8, 2010 at the Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Alfred Holley officiating. Burial will follow in Providence Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday, April 7, 2010 from 6-8 p.m. Pallbearers will be Virgil Watson II, Tony Nolan, Timmy Brumfield, Andrew Rose, Chris Rose and Mike McCalla.
