Lulu Mae Blake, 81, of Gallipolis, passed away on Saturday, November 19, 2011 at the FairHope Hospice Pickering House, Lancaster, Ohio. She was born September 11, 1930 in Gallia County, Ohio, daughter of the late Garred O. and Ruby Craig Blake. Lulu was also preceded in death by three brothers, Leo Blake, Lester Blake and Lloyd Blake, one sister, Lillian Wolford, and her precious cat, Dominique, who was her constant companion for many years. She attended Victory Baptist Church and later the First Baptist Church in Gallipolis. She is survived by one sister, Louise (William) Queen of Canal Winchester, Ohio; a foster daughter, Brenda (Richard) Sydenstricker of Southside, West Virginia; four foster grandchildren, Cea Jay (Sandy) Ross, Bridgett Stover, Richell Sydenstricker Plants and Rickie Sydenstricker; several foster great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews Services will be 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 23, 2011 at the Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Junior Preston officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday, November 22, 2011 from 5-7 p.m. . Cemetery: Mt.
