Mable Dianna "Diannie" Halley, 81, of Point Pleasant, West Virginia, went home to meet her Lord, whom she loved above all, on Tuesday, April 8, 2025 at Rivers Health in Point Pleasant.
Born on December 2, 1943 in Point Pleasant, West Virginia, Diannie was the daughter of the late Howard Edward Elliott and the late Thelma Reitmire Elliott Weaver. On September 21, 1961, Diannie married Everett Halley; he preceded her in death on August 2, 2008. Diannie attended Point Pleasant High School. She had worked for Robbins and Myers, Bob Evans Restaurant, Piggly Wiggly, and Tudors Biscuit World; in fact, she passed away making biscuits at Tudors, doing something she truly enjoyed. Diannie was a member of Silver Memorial Freewill Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking; Diannie was an animal lover and a collector of angels.
Diannie is survived by two sisters, Kathy (James) Stewart of Langsville, Ohio and Sue Pearson of Point Pleasant; three brothers, Herman “Dickie” Elliott of Point Pleasant, Harold Frank (Cathy) Elliott of Racine, Ohio, and Herbert (Marcia) Elliott of Langsville; special niece, Shari (Gary) Cochran of Point Pleasant; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and her husband Everett, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Juby Long and Sugie Baird and three brothers, Howard Elliott, Henry Elliott, and Tommy Elliott.
Friends and family may call on Sunday, April 13, 2025 from 12:00-1:30 p.m. at Willis Funeral Home. A Graveside Service will follow the visitation at 2:00 p.m. in Ohio Valley Memory Gardens with Pastor Russ Moore officiating. Pallbearers will be Delvin, Carter, Quentin, Corey, Brock, and Frankie. Honorary pallbearers will be Herb, Dickie, Frank, Jim, Gary, Herbie, and J.R
