Margaret I. Miller

Margaret I. Miller, 97, of Gallipolis, passed away on Sunday, May 20, 2007 at the Holzer Medical Center. She was born on November 2, 1909 in Perry Township, Gallia County, daughter of the late Vernon and Elizabeth Mosier Wood. Margaret was married to Cecil A. Miller for 63 years before his death on April 27, 1992. She graduated from Cadmus High School in 1927. She was a member of Salem Baptist Church. Surviving are two daughters, Georgia Richie of Gallipolis and Barbara Ault of Westerville; three grandchildren, Marc Ault of Chicago, IL, Monica David Carter of California City, CA, and Crystal Richie of Westerville; and two great grandchildren, Tee Carter of Philadelphia, PA and David Carter of California City, CA. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Cecil A. Miller, two brothers, Bill Wood and Homer Wood, a sister, Freda Slagle and a special aunt, Florence Mosier. Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday, May 26, 2007 at the Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Alfred Holley officiating. Burial will follow in Salem Cemetery. Pallbearers will be David Carter, Davie Carter, Marc Ault, Andrew Kielkopf, Kevin Walker and John Ehman.
