Marguerite Cookie Sue Henson, 59, of Gallipolis, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 24, 2011 at Abbyshire Place, Gallipolis. She was born October 13, 1951 in Harrisburg, Virginia, daughter of the late Norvell Eugene Allen Sr. and Betsy Maude Green Roach and Mervin Roach (stepfather), who preceded her in death. She was a former employee of Holzer Clinic. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church, where she served as a Sunday School teacher, a soloist and sang in the choir. Surviving are her ex-husband, Roy Henson of Chapel Hill, NC; daughters, Shellie (Daron) Puckett of Gallipolis and Emmie Henson and her children, Jamie and Jessica. She loved her granddaughter, Cassandra Cassie Puckett very much and will always be Grandmas baby. Also surviving are sisters, Grace (Gary) Braden, Regina Ohse; brothers, Gary Wayne Allen of Florida, Jim (Debbie) Roach of Huntington, WV and Calvin (Kim) Roach of Pt. Pleasant, WV and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Norvell Eugene Buck Allen Jr. Services will be 7:30 p.m., Thursday, July 28, 2011 at the Faith Baptist Church with Pastor Jim Lusher officiating. Friends may call from 6-7:30 p.m. prior to the service at the Church. Graveside committal service will be Friday, July 29, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Ridgelawn Cemetery.
