Marilyn Ann Corwin, 78, of Patriot, Ohio passed away on Sunday, April 25, 2021 at her residence. Marilyn was born on January 1, 1943 in Dunbar, West Virginia, daughter of the late Raymond Locki and Zelma Skidmore Jividen. She was married to Jackie D. Corwin; and he preceded her in death on July 13, 1989. She was a bus driver for Gallipolis City Schools and a kitchen aide at Green Elementary School. Marilyn attended the Church of Christ in Christian Union when she was able. Marilyn enjoyed spending her days hitting every yard sale she could find, working outside in the yard, and spending time with all of her family and great grandkids. She was always down for a Shenanigan or two and loved to laugh! She loved to surprise people especially with things that she knew they would love and appreciate! Marilyn was loved by so many and will be deeply missed! Marilyn is survived by one son, Charles B. Corwin of Patriot, Ohio; granddaughters, Krysti G. Corwin and Brittany D. Corwin both of Patriot and Kacie A. Grate of Gallipolis, Ohio; nine great grandchildren; brother, Gary (Dianne) Jividen of Florida; and sister, Glenna Coe of Florida. Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jackie D. Corwin; sister; Nancy Gill; and brothers, Jimmy Jividen and Raymond Jividen Jr. Calling hours for Marilyn will be from 6:00-7:00 p.m. on Friday, April 30, 2021 at Willis Funeral Home. Those in attendance are asked to follow the CDC guideline of social distancing and the Ohio mandate of wearing face masks. According to the family’s wishes, there will not be a funeral service.
