Marion Lewis Angell

Marion Lewis Angell, 86, of Crown City, Ohio passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 7, 2022 at his residence surrounded by his family. He was born on October 7, 1935 in Gallia County, son of the late Earl "Cap" and Agusta Angell. Marion retired from the GDC and was a life-long farmer. He loved sitting on his porch with his animals and enjoyed when company stopped in to visit. Marion is survived by his special friend, Nancy Altizer; two daughters, Tammi Angell and Cathy (Greg) Rees; grandchildren, Brittny (Wayne) Kemp, Zach (Jessica) Green, Biranda (Darren) Clark, Justin Rees, Jacob Rees (Jessica Wise), Jess Rees (Ronnie Shafer) and Brandi Lynn Johnson; great grandchildren, Bryceton (Haleigh), Ava, Hayden, Kylar, Lydia, Chesnee, Ryder, Colt, and Kylinn; great great grandson, Brixton; sister, Carolyn (Waldo) Porter; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Marion was preceded in death by a great granddaughter, Lyla Green; two brothers, William "Bill" Angell and Lester Angell; and four sisters, June Porter, Elsie Hazlett, Bonnie Austin, and Catherine McKean. The visitation for Marion will be held on Wednesday, April 13, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Willis Funeral Home. Marion's funeral service will be a private family service with burial following in Swan Creek Cemetery. His pallbearers will be Zach Green, Wayne Kemp, Darren Clark, Greg Rees, Bryceton Folden, Hayden Kemp, Justin Rees, Jacob Rees, and Jason McWhorter.
