Mary Ann Baldwin

Mary Ann Baldwin, 80, of North Ft. Myers, Florida, formerly of Gallipolis, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, May 9, 2010 at her daughter's residence. She was born on May 27, 1929 in Gallia County, daughter of the late Henry Edward and Jessie Mae DeWitt Clagg. Mary Ann was married to Urban H. Baldwin on April 4, 1948 in Gallia County, Ohio and he preceded her in death on September 2, 2009. She was in sales at Bernadine's, was a member of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church and enjoyed square dancing. Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Karen Sue 'Suzi' and Dick Patten of North Fort Myers, Florida; two grandchildren, Debra Patten of Alva, Florida and Rich Debra Patten Jr. of Houston, Texas; three great grandchildren, Anna Nicole of Wyoming, Nicole of Houston, Texas, and Katelyn of Alva, Florida; three sisters, Midge Evans of Gallipolis, Clara Jay Allen Blair of Circleville, Ohio and Bonnie Bonnett of Columbus, Ohio; several nieces and nephews. Mary Ann was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Urban H. Baldwin, and six brothers, Clayton, Shelby, Van, Jack, Henry and Donavan Clagg. Her Homegoing Celebration will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 15, 2010 at the Willis Funeral Home with Rev. Todd Bowers officiating. Burial will follow in St. Nick Cemetery.
