Mary Louise Drummond

Mary Louise Drummond, 83, of Gallipolis, passed away on Tuesday, March 23, 2010 at Holzer Senior Care Center. She was born on December 21, 1926 in Meigs County, Ohio, daughter of the late Earl and Ruth Emma Shoemaker Miller. She married Charles David Drummond on September 19, 1946 and he preceded her in death on March 30, 1998. She retired from Gallipolis Developmental Center in 1986 as a Pharmacy Tech. Mary Louise attended Bulaville Christian Church and was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary and the Loyal Order of Moose Auxiliary. She enjoyed oil painting and crocheting. Surviving are one son, David L. Drummond of Gallipolis and two daughters, Katrina Ann Michael Northup of Gallipolis and Sarah Gary Snouffer of Bay St. Louis, Mississippi; thirteen grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Charles David Drummond, a daughter Charlotte Louise Gray, a son James Earl Drummond, and four sisters Clara Jane Rinehart, Dorothy Truehiet, Sylvia Rupe and Beulah Dean Stewart. Services will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 27, 2010 at the Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Alfred Holley officiating. Burial will follow in Gravel Hill Cemetery.
