Mary Elizabeth "Betsy" Fennessy

Mary Elizabeth “Betsy” Fennessy, 53, of Gallipolis, formerly of Deerfield, Illinois, passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2013 at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington, West Virginia. Betsy was born September 21, 1960 in Summit, New Jersey, daughter of the late John and Mary O’Neil Prudden. She worked at Infocision for 3 ½ years. Betsy was married to David E. Fennessy and he survives her. Also surviving are her sister, Susan Murphy of York, Maine, a niece, Chloe Kenning of Chicago, Illinois and a nephew, Sean Murphy of Brooklyn, New York. She was preceded in death by her parents, her son Robert John Lasater in 2002, and a sister, Kathleen Kenning. Services will be 7:30 p.m., Thursday, October 3, 2013 at the Willis Funeral Home with Pastor Alfred Holley officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Sodus Township, Michigan on Friday, October 4, 2013. Friends may call from 6-7:30 p.m. prior to the service.
