Mary "Kay" Wright

Mary Catherine “Kay” Wright, 76, of Bidwell, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at Holzer Medical Center. Born on January 26, 1945 in Cheshire, Ohio, Kay was the daughter of the late Pearl and Gladys Opalene Carr Darst. Kay was also preceded in death by her first husband, Gene Johnson; second husband, Gene Wright, Jr.; and sister, Nina May Darst. Kay was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Gallipolis, Ohio. She enjoyed painting. Kay is survived by her siblings, Beatrice Grimm of Point Pleasant, West Virginia, Amanda Darst of Gallipolis, and Ray Darst, of Albany, Ohio and niece, Kay Grimm of Point Pleasant. A Memorial Service for Kay will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, June 14, 2021 at First Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Matt Llewellyn officiating.
