Maxine Lucille Davis Rusk On Sunday, October 14, 2007, Maxine L. Davis Rusk was called home to live with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Born December 17, 1914, Maxine was a lifelong resident of Gallia County and Mother and Mother-in-law to Gary and Ruth Rusk, Jerry and Mary Rusk, and Bev and Alan Alberchinski. Surviving grandchildren include Kevin Swabb and Family; Kelley Edwards and Family; Kelly Rusk and Family; and Adam Alberchinski. She was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-one years, Wilson Rusk; and parents, George E. and Lenna Mae Davis; along with sisters Margaret Waugh and Thelma Harrington; and brothers Harold Davis and Jesse Davis. Pastor Joseph Godwin and Pastor Philip Walker will officiate the services at the Willis Funeral Home in Gallipolis, Ohio on Wednesday, October 17, 2007, at 11:00 A.M. Pallbearers will be Gary Rusk and son, Kevin Swabb, Jerry Rusk and son, Kelly Rusk, Alan Alberchinski and son, Adam Alberchinski; and nephews Bob Davis and Mike Harrington. The final resting place will be Mound Hill Cemetery. Last respects may be paid on Tuesday, October 16, 2007, from 5:00-8:00 P.M. at the Willis Funeral Home.
