Michael Lee Crites

Michael Lee Crites, 65, of Patriot Ohio, passed away in his home Monday, March 16, 2020. Mike was a graduate of West Virginia University and a die-hard Mountaineer fan, despite all efforts to convert him to a UK fan. He was a loving husband, father, & grandfather and will be missed dearly. Mike was born in Akron,Ohio and was preceded in death by his parents Voris & Madeline Scott. He is survived by his wife of 21 years, the love of his life, Beverly Crites; brother, Jim Crites, sister, Sharon Crites, his children Amy (Steven) Carraway, Amanda Crouse, Stephanie (Dax) Hill, Joshua Golsby, Darante Crites, Mackayla Crites, Eldeena Crites; his grandchildren Jordan Lear, Gage Childers, Samantha Carney, Christopher Carney, Wyatt Newman, Patrick Carney, Evelyn Carraway, Carter Carraway, Aydn Golsby, Kenleigh Golsby, and River Golsby. The funeral service for Mike will be held on Friday at 1 pm at our family cemetery with Pastor Bob Hood officiating.
