Mildred Ann Merrick Redwine

Mildred Ann Merrick Redwine, 72, of Gallipolis, passed away on Tuesday, August 19, 2008 at her residence. She was born April 27, 1936 in Jackson County, Ohio, daughter of the late Emil and Flora Woodie Dulaney. She was married to William H. 'Bill' Merrick on April 9, 1953 and Keith Redwine, whom she married July 12, 1982 in Gallipolis, and they both preceded her in death. She was a cashier for several businesses. Surviving are two daughters, Cheryal Max Crow of Jackson and Jo Melvin Biars of Gallipolis; two sons, Mike Mariann Merrick of Mt. Gilead, OH and Jim Rhonda Merrick of Crown City; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; her special friend, Jim Withrow of Gallipolis; two sisters, Vi Bill Bobo of Oak Hill and Sidna Dulaney of Reynoldsburg; two brothers, Stanley Marianne Dulaney of Middletown, New York and Bill Janice Dulaney of Vicksburg, MS; and special friends, Louise Chambers of Gallipolis and Madeline Rosshirt of Johnstown, OH. She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, William 'Bill' Merrick in 1981 and her second husband, Keith Redwine in 2001. Graveside services were held on Friday, August 22, 2008 at the Ohio Valley Memory Gardens. Willis Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
